Ready, Set, Hatch!

We started with 28 fertile eggs and ended with 18 adorably fuzzy ducklings and goslings. On the practical side, the incubator temperature was 99.5 and the humidity was 55%. I hand turned the eggs every 8 hours because the goose eggs were far too large for the automatic turner. Candling at day 7 revealed those that were not viable and left us with 28 possibilities. Now I lose hours just watching their antics and doing the basic care taking. Each one so unique.
